Engine 4 is a 1984 American La France with a 1500 GPM pump. Engine 4 serves as our primary attack engine. It has a 750-gallon water tank, a 60-gallon foam tank, and carries 1200 feet of 5 inch LDH along with several 1.5-inch and 2-inch pre-connected attack lines. Engine 4 also carries an assortment of light rescue tools along with a Lucas hydraulic tool. It is powered by a 450-hp Detroit diesel with an Allison automatic transmission.
