Engine One is a 1980 GMC Protector I built by Emergency One. It is powered by an 8.2 liter Detroit diesel with a 5-speed transmission. It has a 1000 GPM single stage Hale pump with 6-inch suctions. It carries 500 gallons of water and 1500 feet of 5 inch LDH. Engine One's primary function is water supply.
